Let them come let them know
Let the oppressed of this land conspire
For only the garbage is left,
Let them look in the mirror of time
At what wretchedness broached.
See how dry leaves
Spawned life, spawned light!
Those who believe, look, filter
After others to see
To feel, to share emotion, to live!
And fertile land, planted in hope
Mother earth gratefully
Gives us, in her arms,
Sweet shelter.
Alert we are, vigilant
And the currents we breed
Are of solidarity,
Unbroken at the first fence.
In our throats is a throng
That screams and sings,
Reconquers
The land, a name, and freedom
That echoes over field and town
And spreads seeds
Wherever people are found
Wherever hunger breeds,
And hope assumes the name of freedom.
